In a not-so-professional photo, with no one looking and Mum wearing a frown, we hold onto a memory that marks the beginning of Secluded Havens.

A delightful day on Conwy Quayside, enjoying fish & chips, a beer from the Liverpool Arms, and the soothing sound of nearby waves, we enjoyed some downtime having welcomed the newest addition to our family, three-week-old Luca.

In the background stands Water View Cottage, adorned with a “for sale” sign, a very rare sight on the quayside. At this moment Mum and Dad’s dream of owning one of the old fisherman’s cottages may be coming true. Within 24 hours of setting eyes on the cottage, an offer was made. By October 2019, they proudly owned their secluded haven, Water View Cottage. Countless hours of hard work and determination went into transforming it into what it is today, the perfect cozy haven.

There’s a running joke in our family, wherever Mum and Dad visit a city or go on holiday, Mum always mentions wanting to buy a holiday home there. Perhaps that’s why they now own four! Their holiday collection expanded unexpectedly, welcoming Harbour Cottage in Conwy, a character-filled property in Chester, and a stunning villa in Lanzarote.
